Members of the Notepad Society are well known for their small notepad that they carry with them all the time. They can be spotted going around the world taking notes that they write down, guess, where? On their notepads, of course!

Members of the Notepad Society firmly sustain that writing down notes not only helps you practice your writing, but also produces a chemical reaction in your brain that, mysteriously enough, causes you to write even more. Besides, members of the Notepad Society say, the more notes you take, the more ideas you collect, which can be used to create new stories.

Get yourself a blank notepad that you can carry with you at all times. Don’t forget a pencil or a pen.

Stand up, put your hand over your notepad and say: "I, Frido Gonzales (or any other name you happen to be named by), will use all of my senses and my mind to find things to write in my notepad. When I hear some unusual, I will write it on my notepad. When my little cousin invents a new word I will write on my notepad. If I visit a new place I will write about it on my notepad. Did I make a new friend? I will write a note on my notepad. When I feel curious, forgetful, sparkly, somber I will write something about it on my notepad. etc,etc,etc. From now on my notepad and I together."

Now that you are officially a member of the Notepad society, go and off and take some notes.
