EXPERIMENT

Ex-periment, tnemirepxe. experiment.

Yes, you may try any of this:

Sit and listen. Write down everything you hear for five minutes (look for as many sounds as you can).

Choose one part of your body, your belly button, your left cheek, maybe your big toe! Write what this part of your body will tell the world about itself  (try to figure what kind of voice, way of talking, and personality that part of your body has)

Listen at your thoughts and write them up as fast as you can for a whole minute (or more!).

Put on a mask, paint your face, dress up, wear a mustache or a wig, pretend you are a different person. Now write.

Think for a moment: If you where a book, what kind of book you would be? Write about it.

Think of a color and write everything that comes to your mind when you think of that color.

Write the secret story of your pet told by herself as if she could talk.

Introduce your family to a visitor from outer space.

Write a conversation between the broom and the dustpan, the plate and the spoon, your feet and the floor, or any other duo of things that you choose. What would they talk about?

Write the story of your life in only one page using your left hand if you are right-handed or you  right hand if you are lefty.
